I’m Kristen Metz, owner and operator of Blissful Home Interiors (BHI). I was born and raised in the Jacksonville area, and currently live in Jacksonville Beach.

I’ve always wanted to own my own business and I was fortunate to meet a lot of great people with challenging lives and schedules. It became clear to me that people needed help managing their personal homes.

I opened for business in 2019 looking to transform chaos into peace for those whose daily grind had created cluttered non-functional spaces. Initially, I cleaned houses and provided recommendations to organize spaces and optimize function. Over time I was able to build a repor with my clients and transition into home decor.

It was a seamless evolution for my business; you can’t organize a dirty space, and you can’t decorate an unorganized space. After every project I complete, I make sure the room is cleaner than before I arrived. Throughout the years I have purchased many household items for my clients, as well as my own home. It is a wonderful feeling being able to recommend products I have used and love; from cleaning supplies and organizational items, to bedding and furniture.

Within the first two years I compiled a small portfolio of projects from living space decor to children’s bedroom revitalizations to functional storage spaces. This developed into word of mouth engagements as well as a tool for marketing BHI as an organizer and decorator. It has been a dream to wake up each day with a rich and fulfilling purpose.

I believe that a well-organized and decorated space should not only meet functional needs but also reflect the personality and lifestyle of its occupants. This philosophy is at the heart of my approach, ensuring that each project is a true collaboration between myself and my clients.
